Laura Mason from Quest Scotland was back at the University yesterday to assess training sessions delivered by staff working towards their SQA in Planning and Delivering Learning Sessions. Upulani (SER: Paperless Admissions), Victoria (SER: Portal Administration), Nadege (SER: C-View) and Jenny from Corporate Communications each delivered a twenty minute session on a subject of their choice.
The topics covered were diverse and included stars and stellar evolution, an introduction to blogging, how to begin hand-raising a baby bird and a hands-on sugar craft lesson! Carrying on the diverse theme, Sunny (SER Support), then delivered the final session of his qualification, a one hour long introduction to the subject of intersectionality and the importance of including it as part of policy and thinking at the University.
If you would like to be included in any training opportunities that may be available in the future, please get in touch using the details on the SER blog homepage.
